PROMEC Engineering develops custom equipment and test systems for the defense and aerospace sector by combining mechanical design, structural analysis, electronic design and manufacturing. Our main project areas:

Weight and Center of Gravity Measurement Equipment

Fixtured, calibratable measurement platforms that measure the weight and center of gravity of missiles, munitions and subsystems with load cells. Platform stiffness is verified by structural analysis and the part is positioned on repeatable reference points. Read more: What Is Center of Gravity Measurement?

Munition Integration and Loading Platforms

Adjustable trolleys, fixtures and loading rigs for safely handling, precisely positioning, integrating and loading munitions and subsystems onto platforms. Load capacity, adjustment axes and operator safety are addressed together in the design.

Firing Platforms and Control Consoles

Rigid platforms that carry the system during test and firing activities, together with operator control consoles. The mechanical structure, cabling and electronics are designed as one system, and strength against firing loads is verified by analysis.

Exhibition and Training Models

Full-scale or scaled models of defense systems for exhibitions and training. The whole process is handled, from the 3D model to manufacturing, painting and finishing; models are designed to be transportable and easy to set up.

Wing Actuation Test (KTS) Systems

Test rigs for functional and performance testing of wing and control surface actuation mechanisms. The loading mechanism, sensors, data acquisition and control software are designed together according to the test requirements.

Leveling Systems

Leveling platforms with adjustment mechanisms for leveling precision equipment and systems during assembly, measurement and testing. Adjustment accuracy, load capacity and locking solutions are defined according to the requirement.
